The cover material decides how a bed looks, how it wears, and what price band it sits in. You do not need every option — you need the right few for your buyer.
The common options
Plush / short fleece: soft, cozy, the everyday home-bed look; good for nests and mats. Sherpa / faux sheepskin: warmer, more textured, strong in colder markets. Canvas / Oxford: tougher, easier to wipe, better for high-wear and outdoor-adjacent use. Inner cushions are usually polyester fiber or foam.
Match material to the listing claim
“Luxury” wants a soft upper; “tough chew-resistant” wants a tighter weave. The material you choose also changes the feel reviewers describe — and therefore your keywords. Decide the buyer first, then the material.
